SO EXCITED FOR MY NEXT PROJECT!
Nasher Public: Urban Historical Reclamation and Recognition. I'm partnering with the Nasher Sculpture Center on a 16-month project to serve Dallas' Historic 10th Street Neighborhood. The project is led my mentor Vicki Meek and I get to collaborate with an amazing collective comprised of Ángel Faz, Christian Vazquez, and Marvin Dulaney. We are partnering in collaboration with Remembering Black Dallas Inc. and the Tenth Street Historic District Freedman’s Town.

“penny candy is a powerhouse—humorous, harrowing, and explosive. With clear-eyed compassion and a naturalistic immediacy, Norton has transmuted the experiences of his upbringing into a profound drama that honors the past while speaking boldly to our present moment.”
